It's kind of funny how we all search Google, hoping that Google can give us the answer that we are looking for. Any advice that Google can give for homeschool information is always a favorite search and many times the questions are looking for an "expert opinion". Who is considered an expert at homeschool? Is it someone's opinion on how homeschool is supposed to be? Is it a poll? Is it what I am writing? None of these suggestions are correct. There are no experts in homeschool that you will find by searching Google. You want an expert opinion? The expert that you are looking for is within each homeschool family that take the time to really know how to homeschool their children. TM : )
What exactly are you looking for now that you're here? Is it a different view about homeschool? Is it an expert opinion on how homeschooling should be? Is it a question that you can't quite put your finger on, or is it the verbal pat on the back that is in my encouragement section? If you said "yes" to any of these, then you are in the right place! Wait a second, did I say "expert opinion"? Does homeschooling for almost 8 years count? What ever it is that you are looking for, I'm sure you'll find it here. If not, leave me a comment or fill out one of those form thingies and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. TM : )
Here's a thought... How is it that people who have never homeschooled become experts at this subject when interjecting their opinion upon a homeschooler? For me, my confidence strong, I have no problems with people like this. For those of you that are new to homeschool and your confidence is a bit on the wobbly side, a negative opinion can shake your very core. Please don't let it. Read this quote I found and keep your head held high! TM : )
"Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Smallpeople always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great." Mark Twain |
