Summer... Take time to enjoy life. Be here, be present. I'm going to do just that. I'll be back in a few weeks. Until then, remember, have fun with your kids, be a kid, and renew your friendship with them. When the school year starts in the fall, you will have a new outlook for the year, so will your kids. Summer... The temperature is rising, don't forget to hydrate! I know, you've heard it before, but it still matters. Drink lots of water, take care of yourself, your health is important. TM : )
Summer... Is it hot where you are? Make some homemade fans! You know the ones, fold the paper, flip it over, fold again, flip it over. But before you start the folding process, decorate the paper with some stickers and colorful markers. Presto... Instant personalized fans! TM : )
Summer... Can you believe it? I'm already thinking about the upcoming school year! TM : )
Summer... I hope you had a memorable 3 day holiday weekend. Now back to enjoying your summer vacation! TM : )
Summer... It's the start of the 4th of July weekend. How will you celebrate? BBQ? Beach? Camping? Gardening? Maybe remind your kids why we celebrate the 4th? I'll do the latter for sure. Happy 4th! TM : )
Summer... Plant a bouquet of flowers. You don't need a big space. Get a nice looking pot, ceramic or plastic, get a bag of good potting soil, and have your kids help pick a combination of plants and flowers. Get your plants small, they'll get big quick enough. Depending on the size pot you have, you'll want 4-7 plants. Purchase different sizes (plants), some flowering, some not, some tall, some trailing... then mix them all up, plant them in the soil and put in a nice sunny spot. Don't forget to water.
